PRESIDENT OBAMA VISITS MGS CUSTOMER ZBB!
President Obama speaks at ZBB facility, meets with attendees, and shakes hands with MGS Mfg. Group CEO Mark Sellers – who used the opportunity to urge support of the U.S. manufacturing base. On Monday, August 16, MGS customer ZBB Energy Corporation was the site of a presidential visit. Scores of local and national media personnel documented his tour of ZBB facilities and his speech to employees and key suppliers. MGS Mfg. Group representatives were honored to participate in the event. President Obama discussed the need to expand the domestic manufacturing of advanced batteries, whether for hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles or for battery systems like ZBB's that are designed to help electricity flow to the power grid. The President mentioned “MGS Plastics” as a key technology supplier to ZBB. ZBB makes advanced batteries and intelligent power systems that use renewable sources of energy. MGS Mfg.
